Pop Songs

Pop songs come from movies and pop composers. The songs are mainly simple music with the lyrics about love. They are played by bands in dance halls, cafe, restaurants, and the night clubs and on television. The bands consist of six to more than six persons. The boys bands are famous today. Boys bands held by Maroon 5, Ungu, Gigi, Letto and Peterpan attract a lot of people. And last but not least the programmes of Indonesian Idol and Mamamia always fascinate young and old people. They are successful because they are singers of great voices and they can perform well before an audience.

Let's Play Games in the Class

3-6-9

This is a very popular Korean game. Students take turns to say numbers in order. The first student says, "1", the second student says "2", etc. Every time the digits 3, 6, or 9 appear, the student must clap once for each digit, not say the number.
So with the number "3", the student must clap , not say "three!". With the number "30", the students must also clap once, and with the number "39" students must clap twice, because there are two instances of the digits 3, 6, and 9.
If a student says a wrong number, claps at the wrong time, or says a number instead of clapping, they are out. Last person in the game wins.
As a variation, you can also include other rules for different numbers. For example, with multiples of 5, eg. 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. students must shout "A-Ja!".

A long, long time ago, there was a very good-looking young man lived with his widowed mother in a small village. Jaka Tarub was his name. He was very courageous, wise, polite and off course … hmm … handsome.

He was always friendly to others and respected to old people. Everybody loved him. Even, his mother loved him very much. However, he wasn’t spoiled or snob. His hobby was hunting bird with ‘laser gun’

One day, he went to the forest in order to look for birds as much as possible. But, the atmosphere of the forest was very unusual. There were no birds at all. And he didn’t realize that he became far and far in the jungle. Because of his tiredness, he relaxed under the tree.

Pengertian Bahan Ajar

Pemahaman terhadap hakikat bahan ajar penting diperlukan sebelum melakukan kegiatan pengembangan.  Berikut ini disajikan (a) definisi bahan ajar, (b) fungsi bahan ajar, dan (c) komponen bahan ajar.

A. Definisi Bahan Ajar

Kemendiknas (2008) memberikan pengertian beberapa definisi bahan ajar sebagai berikut. •

Bahan ajar merupakan informasi, alat dan teks yang diperlukan guru/instruktur untuk perencanaan dan penelaahan implementasi pembelajaran.

1. Bahan ajar adalah segala bentuk bahan yang digunakan untuk membantu guru/ instruktur dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas.
2. Bahan yang dimaksud bisa berupa bahan tertulis maupun bahan tidak tertulis. (National Center for Vocational Education Research Ltd/National Center for Competency Based Training).
3. Bahan ajar adalah seperangkat materi yang disusun secara sistematis baik tertulis maupun tidak sehingga tercipta lingkungan/suasana yang memungkinkan siswa untuk belajar.

AECT (1986) mendefinisikan bahan ajar sebagai bahan pembelajaran yang berupa barang-
